On January 17, Bitmain announced the launch of a new miner called “Antminer S19 Pro + Hyd.” The new miner is equipped with a hashrate of 198TH/s, power consumption of 5445W, and energy efficiency of 27.5 J/TH. Bitmain’s shopping section, which includes machine specifications, hasn’t listed the miner prices, but indicates that shipments will begin in May-September 2022. According to Bitmain, the Antspace HK3 can accommodate 210 units of the Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd. mining machine. The specification section also states that the machine weighs about 17.5 kg and measures about 410 x 196 x 209 mm.
It will make Bitmain’s new hydropower unit the most powerful mining rig ever. The hashrate of the mining rig is 140TH/s, which is superior to other next-generation Bitcoin mining rigs of Bitmain. The new hydropower unit is 41 percent more powerful than any other mining rigs.
According to the Bitmain website, the previously announced Antminer S19 XP (140 TH / s) will be available in July 2022. Many Bitcoin mining companies, such as Bitnile and Greenidge Generation Holdings, have already pre-ordered a batch of Bitmain’s XP machines on the first announcement made by the company.
