Binance’s involvement displaced 100 million XRP

An unidentified cryptocurrency user sent 50 million XRP to Binance in the last two hours, according to Whale Alert. However, the identical amount of XRP was transmitted to another crypto wallet that was marked as “unknown” by the blockchain tracker nearly immediately.

This is happening as XRP trades at $0.5875, and many members of the XRP community are stocking up on the dip. As a result, a significant number of XRP transactions have been seen between XRP investors and centralised digital exchanges that continue to support this SEC-banned coin.

A suspicious wallet identified by Whale Alert as belonging to an unregistered owner sent 50 million XRP tokens to Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange by trading volume. The currency equivalent of the crypto funds sent is $29,300,201. Whale Alert claimed the sender’s address was unknown because it was not tagged by any network or user. Some in the comment thread felt it was a whale sending its XRP to Changpeng Zhao’s site for sale (CZ). A closer examination of the data given by XRP transaction platform Bithomp reveals that the transfer was made between two Binance exchange wallets.

At the same time as the inbound XRP transaction to Binance, 50 million XRP departed Binance and were transferred to an anonymous wallet, according to Whale Alert. However, according to information provided by the aforementioned XRP data provider, the equivalent of $29.3 million XRP was moved to one of the Huobi exchange’s wallets.

It’s a wrap for this story.
