Aurora’s new partnership brings EVM to XP.NETWORK

XP.NETWORK officially announced a strategic partnership with Aurora.

Aurora will be added to the XP. NETWORK bridge family, as it is currently the most successful chain on NEAR.

The chain has shown its potential by increasing by 750 in just six months. The primary goal of the partnership is to establish EVM compatibility on XP.NETWORK. Aurora is well-known for its new chains that integrate EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) into L1 ecosystems.

Virtual machines, or VMs, are programmes that enable networks to perform operations in isolation from the rest of the system. It creates a digital computer within the computer device. It is similar to Parallels Desktop, a Windows emulator. It allows Macs to operate as Windows PCs.

When launching new code, developers use this feature to safeguard the system. A defective code will crash the virtual computer, but the strategy will preserve the main system intact. If a virus attacks the system, the virtual machine has no impact. That is why many people refer to virtual computers as sandboxes.

The function of VMs in a blockchain is altered when they turn smart contract codes written in languages like Solidity into bytecode—computer-readable instructions. Every smart contract and dApp is executed in a virtual machine, ensuring the safety of other smart contracts.

As soon as it was created, EVM became the first and most well-known blockchain-based VM. With the assistance of Aurora, XP.NETWORK is now gaining functionality.
