American magazine Rolling Stone has partnered with BAYC to create two non-affiliated tokens (NFTs), one of which will be BAYC and the other MAYC. One of these two NFTs will be BAYC, and the other will be MAYC. The NFTs will be unveiled on June 22, and the live auction will “go hand in hand with a 4-hour sale to collect printed art for each design,” according to a tweet.
BAYC tweeted the following:
Alternatively, prospective collectors will be able to purchase Apecoin for as little as $100. Since then, ApeCoin (APE) has been trading at $ 4.39. BAYC and Rolling Stone collaborated on two digital magazines in November 2021 also.
Earlier this month, Rolling Stone teamed up with Coinbase to release a special NFT Super Bowl. The song featured a collaboration with 12 other artists and marked the return of the Rolling Stones to the Super Bowl.
The New York Times auctioned the NFT for its column in March 2021 and sold it for $560,000. Time Magazine sold four NFT covers for its digital magazine for $446,000 at the same time.
The Economist sold the cover of its magazine for $419,000 in October 2021. Other books that have entered the NFT market include Fortune Magazine and Playboy Magazine.
The NFT cluster was also affected by the difficult crypto market conditions. According to a recent study, the price of the collection has dropped since June 13, when it hit the lowest at 72.503 ETH ($86,000). Despite this, the collection remains high in ratings.
