St. Louis Park-based Continental Diamond now accepts Shiba Inu, Bitcoin, and other cryptocurrencies as payment through Bitpay.
Minnesota-based firm uses BitPay for transaction
Continental Diamond will be the first diamond store in Minnesota to accept cryptocurrency payments, according to reports. The jewellery business, which has been around since 1981, will use BitPay as its merchant services provider.
BitPay also accepts other cryptocurrencies along with Shiba Inu
In late 2021, BitPay announced Shiba Inu inclusion, allowing SHIB to be used at hundreds of BitPay businesses that accept Shiba Inu. Along with Shiba Inu, BitPay also accepts Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), and five USD-pegged stable coins (BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDC and USDP)
Other fashion brands have begun to accept bitcoins. Gucci, a well-known fashion house, has announced that it would begin taking Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and other cryptocurrencies at selected North American stores.
According to reports, luxury yacht charter and brokerage firm Camper & Nicholsons accepts Shiba Inu and other cryptocurrencies as payment. BitPay is used by the 240-year-old corporation to allow cryptocurrency for its complete yacht fleet, for purchasing, chartering, and other services.

According to WhaleStats, a top ETH whale named “BlueWhale0073” has purchased 207,882,946,977 Shiba Inu worth $2,365,707. Shiba Inu’s price momentarily dropped to $0.000008 on May 12. SHIB is currently trading at $0.0000106.
