Jack Dorsey makes fun of trading app Robinhood on adding Shiba Inu cryptocurrency

As per the recent tweet by former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, he is perplexed by Robinhood’s decision to add the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency. In response, Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev inquired when Twitter would add an edit button.

To the delight of the community, the leading commission-free trading app Robinhood finally listed the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency on Tuesday. Following the much-anticipated listing, the price of the SHIB token increased by approximately 35%, but it has since lost the majority of its impressive gains.

Robinhood CEO has also improved its Twitter presence by actively engaging with the community. Tenev also shared a photo of himself playing with a Shiba Inu dog, saying that dogs complete one’s life.

This isn’t the first time Dorsey has poked fun at the meme coin. In October, the billionaire expressed his displeasure with cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase for promoting Shiba Inu.

Dorsey is a staunch Bitcoin maximalist who has repeatedly rejected the idea of embracing altcoins. His reluctance to experiment with other cryptocurrencies has resulted in numerous disagreements with the Ethereum community.

After Jack Dorsey stepped down as CEO of Twitter in November, the platform became more altcoin-friendly. Last week, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who recently took a 9.2% passive stake in Twitter, suggested that Dogecoin will be used to pay for the Blue subscription service.

Meanwhile, Dorsey is still a big supporter of Bitcoin. Block and Blockstream recently collaborated with Tesla to run a solar-powered crypto mining farm.
