Ariana Grande’s trans charity campaign now supports crypto donations

Ariana Grande, a vocal supporter of transgender rights and the founder of her own charity, Protect and Defend Trans Adolescents Fund, has teamed up with Pledge to raise funds for LGBTQ groups that provides assistance to transgender youth. She has pledged to match donations up to $1.5 million.

PledgeCrypto is a fundraising platform that allows non-profits to accept cryptocurrency donations in over 130 currencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and Tether (USDT), and then convert them to fiat currency.
According to the statement, PledgeCrypto is a free, fully integrated fiat and cryptocurrency giving platform that delivers funds to certified nonprofit organisations. There are no technical requirements, no crypto wallet experience, and no Know Your Customer papers.
According to Pledge CEO James Citron, over 300 million people hold bitcoin and plan to utilise it to support organisations they care about. Pledge Crypto has partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Los Angeles, Big Brothers and Big Sisters Los Angeles, Streetcode Academy, Worthy of Love, Safe Place for Youth, CoachArt, Goodie Nation, and Taraji P. Henson’s Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, in addition to Ariana Grande’s campaign.
To counteract the environmental impact of cryptocurrency mining and transactions, Pledge has established a method that allows each crypto transaction to contribute to verified carbon offset programmes via the United Nations Climate Neutral Now Initiative.
