Popular crypto podcaster Peter McCormack announced today that he is leaving Twitter because of a long history of bad behaviour from followers. McCormack started the “What Bitcoin Did” podcast in November of 2017, and it has since expanded to over 470 episodes and seen a significant boost in popularity among bitcoiners.
McCormack tweets:
I’m quitting Twitter.
As a broadcast medium it is great, as such I’ll hand it over to my team and they can use my account to promote our shows, other cool projects/shows/accounts and laugh at Tottenham.
As a discussion forum it is a miserable failure.

The “What Bitcoin Did” Podcast is a Bitcoin podcast hosted by Peter McCormack that features interviews with experts in the fields of Bitcoin development, privacy, investment, and acceptance. The “What Bitcoin Did” podcast now has over 77.8 thousand subscribers on YouTube and a large following on Spotify. Regular guests include prominent crypto personalities such as macro analyst Lyn Alden, Nic Carter, and crypto trader Willy Woo.
Peter McCormack’s popularity among bitcoiners has risen over the years, as has his following on Twitter. Today, the podcaster has 470,000 followers, which, according to McCormack, has taken its toll. To be honest, McCormack is pretty adept at delivering literary blows on Twitter.
Peter McCormack just used bitcoin (BTC) to purchase the small football (soccer) team Bedford Town, and he is transforming it into a bitcoin-centric club with the ultimate aim of reaching the Premier League. For unknown reasons, McCormack is not a fan of Tottenham Hotspur FC, but instead uses his presentations to mock the London-based football team.
