The tweet comes on the heels of archrival SHIB’s debut into the Metaverse. SHIB has announced that it will be purchasing its first-ever virtual real estate (Shiba Lands). In all likelihood, Baby DogeCoin does not want to be left behind in this race and wishes to follow suit.
The move has also boosted the BabyDoge’s price, which is currently trading at USD 0.000000004017 per coin. However, compared to the previous trading day, the coin’s trading volume plummeted 46.68 percent, to USD 12,238,356.57.
BabyDoge’s popularity has skyrocketed, surpassing the SHIB token in terms of holder count. According to data, the current holder count for BabyDoge is 1,392,797.
