Famous English singer, songwriter and musician Julian Lennon, John Lennon’s eldest son, is selling some of the most precious items of popular music from his personal collection.
Some of the most sought-after items from music history are up for sale in this NFT series. It includes John Lennon’s coat from the film “Magical Mystery Tour,” his cape from “Help!”. The collection also includes Paul McCartney’s handwritten notes for “Hey Jude.”
The NFT series has been named as “Lennon Connection: The NFT Collection”. The bidding will start from February 7. All this will be in collaboration between NFT marketplace YellowHeart and Julien’s Auctions. The earnings from the NFT auction will go to John Lennon’s “White Feather Foundation”.
They will keep the original physical stuff. Buyer would only have ownership of the unique NFT associated with it. All NFTs in the collection will be available as an audio-visual collectible, narrated by Julian Lennon.
Julien’s Auctions has already auctioned off other Beatles collectibles for millions of dollars.

- The drum head Ringo played on the “Ed Sullivan Show” in 1964 went for USD 2.1 million.
In the latest series auction, Paul McCartney’s handwritten notes for Hey Jude are expected to fetch the highest price. The starting price for it has been set as USD 30,000.
