Bitcoin has sparked a lot of discussion on crypto Twitter (CT). Peter Schiff, a Bitcoin hater and gold supporter, has been criticising Bitcoin, arguing the price reduction is proof that Bitcoin cannot be compared to gold. He has now been called out by Mike Novogratz, the CEO of Galaxy Digital, who has placed a bet on bitcoin, stating that if the price falls below $35,000, he will pay $1 million.
In a Twitter discussion, the CEO of Galaxy Digital, Mike Novogratz, and the CEO and chief global strategist of Euro Pacific Capital Inc., Peter Schiff, took shots at each other over Bitcoin. In response to Schiff’s criticism of Bitcoin’s performance, the crypto market, and crypto supporters, Novogratz offered him a wager to ensure he had some “skin in the game.”
“Peter Schiff, I’ll bet $1mm to the charity of either of our choices that $BTC is higher than 35k a year from now. You on? “
Novogratz proposed a wager of $1 million to be donated to a charity of their choice if the price of Bitcoin falls below $35,000 in a year.
