Crypto.com, a Singapore-based firm, has welcomed Jon Russell, a former TechChurch and The Ken reporter, as its Asian-based general partner. They want to extend the Fund even more with this new initiative.
In March 2012, Crypto.com launched a USD 200 million Web 3 fund. As of Monday, the company’s intention to expand through its venture arm, which invests in Series A stages, seed stage projects, and crypto businesses, has grown as predicted.
During an interview, Russell stated that the fund is expected to double in size and that it will be published in a few days.
Crypto.com is still looking for general partners, but with Russell’s aid, the fund’s recognition will expand to that Asia-based project. The fund is now administered by Bobby Bao, a co-founder of Crypto.com.
It’s a wrap for this story.
