JPMorgan Chase & Co. has polled its clients to see what they expect the price of bitcoin will be by the end of the year. According to the responses, 55 percent of the bank’s clients believe the price of bitcoin would conclude the year at $60K or higher.
The survey took place between December 13 and January 7 as part of a larger macroeconomic forecast for 2022. The poll was completed by 47 percent of JPMorgan’s clients.
The survey reflected the following:
- 41 percent of clients believed the price of bitcoin to be around $60,000
- 23 percent expects the price to be $20,000
- 20 percent believes the price to be $40,000
- 9 percent predicts the price to be $80,000
- 5 percent expect it to be $100,000
- 2 percent think it could fall to $10,000 or lowerEl Salvador’s president, Nayib Bukele, has projected that bitcoin will reach $100,000 by the end of the year. Goldman Sachs, a global investment bank, believes that BTC might reach $100,000. Nexo, a cryptocurrency loan company, predicts that the price of bitcoin will reach $100,000 by the middle of the year.
