People actually feel more connected to the metaverse than experts say, according to a recent study by the Argentine software company Globant published on June 13.
In a paper, entitled “How Metaverse Overrides Digital Limits and Re-inventing our Existence in the Real World,” 834 experts from around the world from the survey. Despite all the assistive technology needed to find this same fact, a survey showed that 73% of respondents believed they could get into the metaverse. Only 26.5% of them, however, claim to have had a metaverse experience.
Globant Chief Technology Officer, Diego Tártara, stated:
“Although still in its infancy, the metaverse presents businesses with the challenge of adapting their operations to this new environment. Their users are still learning to adapt to this new era as they transition their business to this new reality.”
The target market for which metaverse applications are targeted is one of the conclusions of the report. Aside from the fact that the technology behind metaverse applications is built on the gear of true reality, respondents think the market is not just focused on the little ones. According to 75% of respondents, the metaverse speaks for all generations.
The importance of metaverse technology in the development of remote work was also discussed in the paper. Respondents had high hopes for the long-term use of metaverse activity, and 69% of them thought it was important for this use. In the days of the COVID-19 epidemic, remote work became popular, and now many businesses are considering keeping it as part of their planning process.
One of the founders of Globant recently said that businesses should take emerging technologies such as cryptocurrency, metaverse, and NFTs into account.
