Daniel Ricciardo, a crypto enthusiast and McLaren Racing F1 driver, has teamed up with top crypto exchange OKX, according to the May 26 press statement. He will act as OKX’s ambassador throughout the 22/23 racing season as part of the multiyear contract.
Ricciardo is in his second season with McLaren and his eleventh in Formula One. He and OKX want to attract followers with a variety of activities, including collaboration with designers from underrepresented areas and a global push to teach people about cryptocurrency trading.
The designers will develop a one-of-a-kind racing helmet to be worn during a race. The collaboration will also enable Ricciardo’s supporters to take advantage of new and interesting possibilities, including deep insight into his crypto trading expertise and the opportunity to meet and get to know him outside of F1.
OKX is available in over 180 foreign markets and has 20 million customers, including Ricciardo. The major exchange just became the McLaren F1 team’s Official Primary Partner.
The 2022 Monaco Grand Prix, which takes place this Sunday, May 29, will be the first event in which the famous driver will compete. His racing headgear will be emblazoned with OKX logos.
