On 24th May, Curzio Research, Inc., a financial publishing company specialised in independent investment research and analysis, announced a strategic agreement with TCG Coin 2.0, the founders of TCG World to buy a huge tract of virtual land in a metaverse called TCG World.
The Biggest Virtual Property Sale: A new deal has made metaverse history, with a research company dropping $5 million big ones on multiple plots of land in a relatively TCG metaverse. They paid a cool $5 million for the purchase. This broke the previous record of $4.3 million for a plot in the Sandbox.
The metaverse, called TCG World, is certainly not a great name. This didn’t appear to concern the virtual land purchaser, Curzio Research. The organisation has 19 business land plots in TCG’s metaverse. The $5million buy consists of 12 City 128m x 128m plots and 7 City 256m x 256m plots.
According to Curzio Research, it will investigate the largest virtual land transaction to date. TCG will receive cash in addition to Curzio Research security tokens in exchange. The tokens address a proprietorship stake in the organisation.
Frank Curzio is the Curzio Research organiser stated in a recent tweet that : “The metaverse is what the internet was supposed to be. A decentralised, permissionless place where individuals have the freedom to create and own their digital content. When researching the options, TCG World had all the elements – gamification, entertainment, social, and commerce – to create a true open metaverse. And its low fee structure incentivizes innovation for users and developers. We’re happy to be part of this pro-growth model in an industry that has incredible upside potential.”
Curzio expects their Research offices to be completed in time for the official debut of TCG World. This is scheduled for September 2022.
