Opera has announced that BNB Chain will be supported in their Web3-focused crypto browser. The Binance ecosystem is powered by the BNB Chain blockchain, and this latest integration is a step toward making the browser more accessible.
Users of the Opera Crypto Browser will be able to access popular decentralised exchanges (DEX) on the BNB Chain, such as PancakeSwap and the 1inch protocol, thanks to this integration.
Supporting BNB Chain will allow browser users to buy BNB tokens with fiat currency, according to the official blog post. BNB Chain’s native token is Binance Coin (BNB). Brower users will be able to send and receive the currency using the Opera crypto wallet and use the BNB Chain to access decentralised applications (dApps).
Users will have easy access to the bustling decentralised finance (DeFi) sector in addition to the coin. AutoShark Finance, ApeSwap, DRIP Venus, Tranchess, and Treehouse, among other innovative DeFi projects, will be accessible.
Opera has been passionate about its commitment to the blockchain and Web3 industries. The browser startup has formed alliances with several of the industry’s most prominent blockchain networks. In addition to BNB Chain, Opera’s Crypto Brower includes Bitcoin, Solana, Ronin, Celo, Polygon, StarkEx, and the Nervous Network integrated.
Opera has previously stated that it will not be concentrating primarily on a specific cryptocurrency or blockchain. Instead, the browser claimed that its crypto browser would incorporate numerous blockchains and decentralised domain naming systems. This will provide users with more alternatives and allow them to employ more layer two functionalities.
