A new type of NFT collection has emerged based on Formula 1 Grand Prix from Crypto.com. On Sunday, Crypto.com, the fastest growing crypto exchange site, will launch the Miami Grand Prix. By teaming up with South Florida Motorsports (SFM), the organisers of the Miami Grand Prix, Crypto.com will help the sport of racing join the NFT space.
Kris Marszalek, Co-Founder and CEO of Crypto.com, highlighted the following:
“Our activation at the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix is absolutely revolutionary in terms of bringing the race’s technology, engineering, and experience to life by manufacturing unique NFTs in real-time using data and energy sources. We’re ecstatic to offer fans and NFT aficionados the chance to win a one-of-a-kind piece of art, sport, and technology history. “
57 “dynamically created” NFTs will be in Kinetica, Crypto.com’s NFT gallery. The kinetic energy generated from 57 race laps created these NFTs, which are “visual expressions.” According to the crew, eight local artists will create artwork inspired by different areas of the live racetrack. These works of art will be on show at the NFT gallery for the race weekend, from May 6 to 8.
On race day, May 8, the NFTs will be available for minting at Kinetica. By creating and registering an NFT account on crypto.com before 11.59pm EDT on May 8, F1 fans on-site and off-site can enter a sweepstakes to win a limited-edition NFT. Every successful submission will also earn fans a commemorative NFT, which will be delivered within a week after the mint day.
NFTs flawlessly mix web3 with real-time events, allowing people to interact with them in a unique way.
