Bitcoin of America, an ATMs crypto operator, announces the availability of Shiba Inu at its more locations.
The organisation allowed Shiba Inu support much to the surprise of the community. Bitcoin of America has previously included Dogecoin, a competitor meme crypto. It made Ethereum transactions possible in September.
The ATMs of crypto operator have not disclosed the details of the locations they will be adding. In January, Bitcoin of America reached a milestone of 1,500 bitcoin ATMs. The Chicago-based firm currently claims to have over 2,000 sites across the United States. It had 630 ATMs in early 2021.
The organization has offices in nearly all major cities across 31 states in the United States. The organisation has ambitions to grow its offices in more locations. With the support of its Universal Kiosk, Bitcoin of America enabled its clients to purchase cryptocurrencies immediately after dispensing cash from credit/debit cards.
In another event, Media-Markt, Europe’s largest electronics retailer, recently stated that Kurant’s Bitcoin ATMs will be installed in various branches around Austria.
Crypto ATMs growing in America
crypto ATMs have seen a significant rise because of the increasing popularity of digital assets. Criminals frequently use it to launder ill-gotten wealth due to the anonymity of the transactions.
However, according to a source, their use is virtually entirely restricted to America. To prevent the risks associated with anonymous transactions that might be abused by criminals, the United Kingdom prohibited crypto ATMs entirely earlier this year.
