Terra (LUNA) stakers will get the last airdrop of their native token from the Terra-based DeFi ecosystem Anchor Protocol (ANC).
Anchor Protocol puts an end to ANC airdrops
The airdrop policy will be reformed by the second biggest DeFi protocol by the total value of assets locked (TVL). On the forum of Anchor, a community referendum accepted this decision.
1/ Attention Anchoroooooooorrssss 📣
With the passing of Prop 24 to redirect all remaining $ANC airdrops to the Community Pool, the time to claim your $ANC airdrop is running out 🕐
Make sure to claim your $ANC airdrop by June 1st if you plan on doing so! 💸 🪂

It was planned on April 12, 2022 to end the airdrop operation because its “growing emissions” were becoming increasingly hazardous to the ANC token’s stability.
A total of 12.83% of Anchor Protocol (ANC) supporters voted in the referendum, with a quorum of 10%. The proposition received 98.5% of the votes.
Mixed emotions by Anchor community
Members of the Anchor community on the forum appreciate the new regulation, while Twitter followers of Anchor are divided on its purpose. Some never claimed for ANC, while others confessed that the reimbursements were insufficient. A user with 100 LUNA ($10,000 approx) received a $0.55 per week bonus.
The Terra (LUNA) ecosystem of Anchor Protocol (ANC) is the most popular and biggest decentralised financial protocol. On major spot markets, the ANC coin is now trading at $2.16, up 0.2% over the past 24 hours.
