NFT artist Diana Sinclair signs deal with UTR to sell NFTs for Christie’s 3.0

NFT artist Diana Sinclair, who is just 18 years old, has recently signed a contract with talent representation United Talent Agency and will sell some of the initial NFTs for Christie’s 3.0.

Christie’s 3.0 is a platform for conducting on-chain NFT transactions, and it was developed by the prestigious art auction firm Christie’s. A press announcement from Christie’s said that Sinclair will be selling nine of her NFTs at auction between September 28 and October 11, 2022.

Christie’s 3.0 is being constructed with the assistance of three businesses: the metaverse developer Spatial, the blockchain forensics company Chainalysis, and Sinclair, which has produced a body of work addressing issues of social injustice, racial inequality, and black identity.

Sinclair was able to produce a video for a previously unreleased Whitney Houston single, which ultimately resulted in the music selling as an NFT on the Tezos-powered marketplace OneOf for a price of one million dollars.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sinclair has joined the ranks of other solo web3 artists such as Emonee LaRussa, Vinnie Hager, and Andrew Wang who are all represented by UTA. In addition, the NFT brand Deadfellaz has also signed with UTA.

After Yuga Labs’ acquisition of the CryptoPunk intellectual property, the popular NFT project CryptoPunks was listed on this list; however, according to Lesley Silverman, director of web3 for UTA, the company no longer represents this project.
