MicroStrategy ex-CEO, Michael Saylor is seeking to grow its Bitcoin Lightning Developer team by recruiting a new software engineer. The R&D team at MicroStrategy has been constructing a set of Lightning products, such as the enterprise servers, enterprise authentication and Lightning wallet.

As per the job details, the software developer will work with the team to develop its Lightning Network-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform.

Enterprises can manage data for thousands of employees, address cyber-security issues, and allow new eCommerce use cases with the aid of the Lightning solution.

The ideal Developer should generally have expertise in contributing to Bitcoin Core and other open-source projects as well as developing on the Bitcoin blockchain.

Michael Saylor, Chairman of MicroStrategy, previously stated that once the Lightning infrastructure is operational, it will increase Bitcoin adoption to over 10 million users.

Saylor, a prominent Bitcoin Maximalist, has asserted that the Bitcoin Lightning Network is the most significant invention created in the field of technology.

As per Saylor, Lightning Network enables programmers to take full advantage of highly expandable decentralised applications (dApps), while utilising the reliable security of underlying Bitcoin layer.

The ethos of bitcoin is to proceed cautiously and avoid moving quickly on the base layer without achieving universal consensus, but with Lightning, you can move much more aggressively toward developing functionality and taking more chances with the applications than you can with the underpinning Bitcoin layer.
