After receiving clearance from the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution(ACPR), Crypto.com, the cryptocurrency exchange platform, has just recently announced that it has been registered by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) in France as a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP).
Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com stated:
“The European market is central to the long-term growth and success of Crypto.com and we are tremendously proud to now receive registration in France from the AMF. We look forward to continuing to work with the AMF and the ACPR as we introduce our products and services in France, offering users a comprehensive, safe, and secure crypto platform.”
With this registration, the platform will be able to provide a variety of products and services to clients in France, all while adhering to the rules and regulations that govern the territory.
The United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) recently gave its approval to Crypto.com to become registered. The first announcement made by the platform said that it had successfully achieved registration in South Korea under the Electronic Financial Transaction Act and the Virtual Asset Service Provider registration. In addition, the regulatory authority to operate as a stock exchange was granted by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Cyprus (CySEC) in July.
